today must've been the worst day so far (don't worrry i'm not gonna start whining again). an accumulation of tiredness has left me very tired (see i'm so tired i can't type coherent sentences). i couldn't even open my eyes wide enough to put on my contacts today so i went to work with my specs and just DIED. as in, i kept falling asleep and stuff, just could NOT stay awake no matter what i did. was THAT tired. yeah... thank God cacia brought us down for meal presentation today!! hahaha. so i got to eat a free first class lunch!!!! and the VP asked them to bring out 20 portions of ice cream... hehe ;) seeing as there were less than 20 of us, there were some leftover..and me being me, i unabashedly asked if i could go for a second round.. hehehe. hey, how often do you get to eat tubs of ben & jerry's ice cream for free??!! hahaha. so yeah, some of the perks of the job. ;)

had a wonderful time yesterday despite being rather tired. airport pass has given me the power to take the private bus, which is cheaper, more comfortable, and faster, than the SBS bus. yay. but that's not the point. the point is i met yuying and we had a nice time chatting over wanton mee (thanks for queueing up dear!) and it's so cool how we're both improving in our singing.. yuying's voice is much louder now! and her voice is so nice and soothing and sweet.. i love listening to her sing. :) i wish i didn't have to stop singing classes..

then we met up with kerk for "i, robot", which i thought was a really good show (lame action bits aside)!! had to watch it from 1st row seats though. :| kerk!!!!! hahaha i miss her alot alot. later, kerk let me drive her (dad's) car around the carpark (cos i don't have my licence yet *shh* BUT i CAN drive ok), then she drove me home. :)

it's things like this that i'm gonna miss so terribly when i go away... sigh.

Free iPods for All Freshmen
The Duke University in Durham, North Carolina has signed a deal with Apple Computer to distribute a 20GB iPod to each of the 1650 freshmen this August. The iPod will be loaded with contents such as orientation information and the school's academic calendar. --Reuters
