random bits of my life.|14.04.04|3:10 am
feel very good now that i've got my expenses and stuff all sorted out from the time since i got my pay. now i have a system of monitoring my expenditure and making sure that i don't overspend, that i tithe (i forgot for feb and mar!!) and that i save at least 30% of my pay. i realise that life in the non-school environment is so much more expensive! transport, food especially, and miscellaneous things here and there.
after watching Sweet November, i got the idea to have monthly projects. so i started an April Project. so far, it's been coming along good, except for the nights i came back after 1am. :) if the April Project is a success, i'll prob find sth else for a May Project. it suddenly hit me that ma and pa have really let go alot these days, letting me go out alot, go out late, and not have to perpetually report who i'm going out with. i wish i had a way of letting them know how much i appreciate that. i have 117 books (i.e. i own them) to read in approximately 4 months. that translates to 30 books or more a month (taking into consideration i'll prob buy more along the way). which means like, a book a day?! hahaha. ridiculous. though i do wish i had the liberty/time to do so. after sorting through my expenses, i figure i need to start working again. sigh, the life of a non-student. only now have i started to realise how hard it is to live in this world. i've had it too good my whole life. i mean, i'm not even paying bills or anything yet! still have lots more stuff and aspects of my life to sort out!
